Pair of Rich Turquoise Green Empire Ware English Urn Vases Art Deco Porcelain

This antique Victorian inspired classical pair of Empire Ware urns are stunning pieces of pottery made in Stafford Shire, England during the 1930s. The rich turquoise green color and 24 karat gold plating makes them a beautiful addition to any collection. The urns are made of rich quality porcelain and feature intricate details that showcase the skill and craftsmanship of the period. Each urn has a different Victorian scene with ladies in a garden scene done in multi colors and ivory background. There are lots of gold detailing on the handles, thin bands on the neck beneath the scroll design, stem and base. The handles do show some normal loss from age. With its unique production style and time period manufactured, these two urns are a rare fine for any pottery and glassware collector. I believe that these urns when new came with a small dome lid and through the years got lost or broken. These two are in amazing condition. I only found a tiny scratch on one garden scene.
